What kind of clan is the United Brotherhood?

The United Brotherhood is a non warring clan. Our stance on warring is, to put it simply, juvinile and a waste of time. The only 'warring' that this clan participates in is a clan battle.  The United Brotherhood may not be a warring clan but are well equipped to protect our channel and members from outside influences and spammers.

What type of clan is DxB?

DxB is everything that you want and need in a clan. You will find godly uberers, pkers, rushers, levelers, baalers, modders and in some cases dupers.

Why does Clan DxB share a channel with Clan UB?

Clan DxB (Diablo Brotherhood) shares a channel with Clan UB because they are both part of the same clan. DxB simply represents Diablo gamers within the clan. A unique feature of Clan DxB over other clans is that even though it is part of the United Brotherhood, it functions as a separate clan with its own agenda.

What is the 'Tribunal'?

The 'Tribunal' was formed since originally three individuals formed the clan. Today the Tribunal is made up of some of the same founding members but also from promoted members. The Tribunal make up leaders of the clan and oversee both Clan UB and Clan DxB.

Who are the founders? And when was the clan formed?

The clan was founded in 2005 by I)cnet, Mega_Newblar and Forsaken79. The clan started out as a 'starcraft only' clan. Once the decision was made to include Diablo and Warcraft, the clan changed its name from StarCraft Brotherhood to the United Brotherhood to signify its unity with other gamers and its communities.

What realm does the clan play on?

The United Brotherhood currently has a clan channel on both USWest and USEast servers. No further expansions are being looked into at this time.

If I am a Starcraft clan member and I also want to play Diablo, am I automatically a member of DxB?

Although the Diablo Brotherhood is part of the United Brotherhood, it functions as if it was a separate clan. You would have to post your interest on our forums and go through a recruitment process.

Who may recruit for other players?

Any person can tell anyone about the clan, however the recruitment process may only be handled by a member not on his/her probation period. The probation period is the first 30 days of being recruited.

What gaming clients make up the clan?

The United Brotherhood currently is made up of Starcraft, Diablo and Warcraft players. Prior to its release, the clan will also be including Starcraft 2.

What are the tags that this clan uses?

The clan recognizes [UB] and [DxB] as United Brotherhood clan tags. At this time we do not require the use of these tags on any account. StarCraft players are asked to have an account for the use of any tourneys or clan battles, otherwise having the game profile specifically state that your in the clan and who recruited you is sufficient.

Blizzard automatically adds the UB suffix to WarCraft 3 accounts, therefore adding tags is redundant. Additionally, DxB members are required to have -DxB at the end of char names, although this is not required for any mule accounts. But the account name itself does not need to be clan tagged.

What is the 'Recruitment Incentives Program'?

Because we do not require any of our members to recruit, we offer incentives for those that choose to bring new individuals to the clan. The incentive program generally will change from month to month. Depending on what type of recruiting is needed will also depend on what the program offers. This program will offer things from gear for Diablo members to gift cards or other offers. All members of the clan are eligible for this program with the exception of members that are in the probation period.

Is there any real reason to use the site/forums? I just want to play..

The site, and forums are in place to give everyone the opportunity to experience the clan to the full extent. The site allows people to not only be aware of any changes being made, but also keep in touch with people who may not be able to play the same times that you do. Additionally, non public information is contained on the forums, which only clan members have access to, such as logon information for the Ventrilo Servers , private bots and mods. Even if some individuals don't like to sign up for anything, there are many benefits in using this free service.

I've been playing on Battlenet for years, do I still have to start at the bottom?

Yes. All new members regardless of previous accomplishments start as a Cadet or a 'new recruit' as it is sometimes referred to as. The reason for this is, this clan has many loyal members who have been in the clan for months, even years. To allow a new member to gain a high position without them working for it would be unfair to the existing members who had to prove themselves to get where they are today. There may be exceptions to this rule depending on the circumstances, however a majority of individuals will start as a Cadet.
